Cristiano Ronaldo becomes football’s first billionaire
Cristiano Ronaldo is doing his bit to help Juventus save money during the coronavirus outbreak but due to the astronomical success of his business ventures away from the pitch, he's unlikely to notice the financial hit.
Ronaldo has taken a pay cut of £3.45million, which, in line with the rest of his Juve team-mates, will help the Serie A giants save up to £100m from March until May.
But a player of Ronaldo's calibre has a number of projects off the field of play that cash-in on his profile as one of the best footballers in the history of the game. That success means he is still on the brink of taking his career earnings into the billions this year.

Couple names twin babies Corona and Covid
An Indian couple have done the unthinkable by naming their newborn twins as Corona and Covid, names connected with the pandemic raging in the world.
For the couple based in Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, the two words may evoke fear and devastation to the world.
But for them, they symbolise triumph over hardship.
The names remind them about all the hardships they overcame amid the lockdown, to have a successful delivery of the babies in the night of March 26-27 at a government hospital.

Inside insane life of king with 20 mistresses, four wives and a £24billion fortune
Many of us are struggling to find things to keep us occupied while we're in coronavirus lockdown - not so the King of Thailand.
It has been reported King Maha Vajiralongkorn - also known as Rama X - has self-isolated in a hotel in Germany with 20 of his girlfriends.
The 67-year-old is said to have moved his entire harem of concubines into the high end Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in Bavaria after he was given permission by authorities.
Bavaria is under lockdown, like the rest of Germany, and the hotel should be closed down along with all the others but it was apparently been given "special permission" to remain open for the king and his bizarre court.
