COVID-19 cases rise to 362 as 19 more test positive

Nineteen new COVID-19 cases were have been announced tonight by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Of the positive cases, fourteen were recorded in Lagos, two in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), one in Kano, one in Niger, one in Akwa Ibom, One in Edo.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 362.

So far, 99 patients have been discharged and seven deaths recorded.

According to NCDC, “As at 09:20 pm, 14th of April, there are 362 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths”
